 How do you find RAVES your area?

Hey all, I've just been introduced to molly about a month ago and I love her! I think that a rave sounds like the coolest thing you could ever possibly do while rolling. None of my friends hear about raves in my area, how do you guys find them? Is it just by word of mouth or what? Also are they legal or not? Last I knew they were still legal. Thanks

I can't find any either........they are legal, but not well recieved, have you heard of the RAVE act? Basically it says that if any drugs are found in places where people gather, (concerts, raves, hotels, NORML benefits, ect.) the owner of the land gets fined at least $250,000 In practice the DEA mainly uses this to shut down NORML benefits and PR campaigns But no, raves are not illegal.

there are usually message boards for your state where they are listed. Just google it

If the organisers are sensible then they will not be listed on message boards, or at least their locations won't be. Thats a very stupid way to get busted. Most locations are only revealed after a certain time on their info lines, so yeah it comes from word of mouth and knowing people who already go to them.

yeah its illegal if its in an abandoned warehouse and the promoter forgot to tell the owner he was throwing a party in his building.
the true rave scene is pretty much dead. there are a few big events here and there. most partys are thrown in clubs or large event venues. and yes there should be a mesage board for your city that will tell you everything you need to know.

In the UK they're pretty much on every weekend within driving distance. Rave lines open at about 11/12. But they are rarely legal over here.

underground raves died in the early 90's in the US. now its all clubs and parties.

israel is also full of raves (we call them "nature party" over here) every weekend but it's hard to find a good party (not too many people good music and no police)
you really do have to know the "right" people

I'm trying to get to a rave sometime too, although the rave scene in saskatchewan is more than a little sparce, so yeah. Apparently Regina isn't have bad though
