Hi all...just got my syringes in the mail today....also went out and bought a heater. So far I THINK I have all i?ll need up until fruiting.

-vermiculite. looks pretty course. from Rona

- Perlite from Rona. 5$

- BRF from Safeway 4$

- 12 half pint wide mouth Bernardin jars from Wal Mart 10$

- 3 spore syringes. B+, EQ, and GT. From sporelab 25$

- 200 watt fish tank heater from Petland. 50$

- 2 tubberware bins for incubation.

I dont have a pressure cooker. And I dont really know how to boil the jars properly. Should I put a rag on the bottem of the pot so the jars arent in direct contact with the hot pot??

Also, is this heater FULLY submersible?? The guy at Petland sayd they were but he didnt sound TOO sure...and it doesnt mention "FULLY" submersible on the box. On regular submersible heater, theres a maximum water level line on the top...this one says "minimum".

Tehy seal those heaters up well. Mines a deep rubber plug with a lip that folds over the brim, I cant see water ever passing this unless the rubbers old. There made out of what looks like a test tube.
