Patch? no patch? what should I do?
    #3157777 - 09/20/04 08:48 PM (20 years, 3 months ago)

Well, as soon as I cased these, I put them in the fruiting chamber cause my inco was broken. Very little myc broke threw, but I patched it up. Now I am starting to get little pins. I want an even pinset though, so what should i do?
Shoud I put some casing mix on the pins?

Any help?

No don't patch the pins. That spot should have been patched sooner perhaps? Hopefully you should have a killer second flush! Sounds like they will be great pinners

Probably fruited to early to get a great pinset but I'll bet youll have a great second and on flush as well. Looks good still, good luck.

Uneven pinset because you initated pinning to early. Pinset usually catches up on the second flush giving you many more fruits. I've also noticed larger fruits on second, third, ect flushes.

Those pins as they mature will take fruiting energy from any more pins that will develop but they will come and should come much more evenly now. GL!
