rice/water questions

is it possible to use full grains of brown rice instead of rice powder? What's the effect of this? Also, is it possible to open the jar and put more water in if too little was put in before? there's no growth yet

i dont know about the rice but you can not open the jar to add more water. how long has it been since you innoculated? sometimes mycelium grows slowly. it took me 1 and i/2 weeks untill i saw first signs of mycelium on my last batch of B+. i am currently trying to cultivate panaleous cyan. and it took 13 just to see a little bit of mycelium.
