Dude, I was just searching for the word "anxiety" and came up with your post.
Umm before december I really messed up on shrooms and my perception changed and I was scraed as hell for no reason. Today things are better but Im still scraed of people because all I see is people and then I freak out. So personally I wouldnt suggest you do any drugs ......besides weed.

Same happened to me, I was abusing whatever hallucinogens I could get a hold of just for there recreational value.I was really spun out for a while (anxiety,depression,etc.)I'd trip in the most social of situations and be fine except when I was with non-tripping friends who would poke fun and try and bug me out(or so it seemed)I became really curious as to what it was about tripogens that affected the mind in that way.I became well informed of the subject and now it is reassuring just knowing from other's experiences that it's probably the way I was using the drugs(frequently,high doses)and that with the potential of these substances it was bound to catch up to my psyche.Now I trip to reveal personal spiritual secrets of my mind which are not as easily revealed in it's normal state,and it helps without a doubt.I'm still friends with the people from before, but in a way I feel superior when it comes to tripping because well they have an idea of the potential, they don't strive to reap the benefits,and therefore never stray from the ways of tidy normalcy that is prevelent around here.Fuckin' drop out of the norm, if your gonna trip let your mind adapt to that which is abnormal,and embrace the new world of unlimited conceptual possibility.Word.

I don't know if this would work for you but it works for me...

I use the "bwahahaha,give me some more!" attitude.
Like when I put alcohol on a cut and it starts to burn I scream "Yeaa!" in the voice of Kano from Mortal combat 1 for SNES,and apply more alcohol to increase the pain.When something goes wrong I laugh and say "Thank god!".I can use this attitude to help with a bad trip.The first time I did acid I took 4 hits,and was in a dimmly lit cellar playing Doom during my peak.I started to see some shit,and it was kinda turning into a bad trip,SO I TURNED THE GOTDAMN LIGHT OFF! I't was fucking great,I kept getting startled from seeing crazy shit,and my heart was racing,I loved it.
The moral of the story is don't let a bad trip take advantage of you,take advantage of it.
