question about dosage

So i have 1/8 of shrooms, but I don't know if I want to take it all at once or space out my dosage over the night. Will I enjoy myself more if I start off with 2 grams and save the rest for later in the night? What difference will it make, if any?

depends, if you want a heavy trip, take the whole 1/8th, if you wanna make a light trip last the whole day take it gradually, it's really up to you. :grin:

I just started growing my own shrooms and I can't seem to be above a level 3 even when I've taken over 100 grams of fresh shrooms.

About a year ago I got to a level 5 with some shrooms I got from a friend but I can't get to it with my own home-grown. I'm wondering if it's possible that something I'm doing during cultivation is causing me to grow shrooms that have less psyllocybe. Is that a possibility?

I'm using the PF TEK FOR SIMPLE MINDS growing B-plus shrooms.

I should mention that I'm also taking effexor, which is an SSRI. But I was on it last year when I did reach the level 5 too.

Any thoughts?

you probably should've started your own thread but...

I know with some SSRIs, you aren't affected much at the start. Zoloft for instance, takes at least a month to even begin 'working'. I don't know much about effexor, but its quite possible that much has changed in the past year.. as far as the chemistry in your head. I'd definately suggest that its to blame, if you've taken over 100 grams fresh. Not the growing conditions. Have a friend try your shrooms :smile:

My girlfriend recently started zoloft, but it's not doing too much yet, and its a low dose. Didn't affect tripping, but I'm sure it will in a few months.

I'm being anal here but Effexor is actually an SNRI.

I just looked through a faq that says you might need up to twenty to forty fresh mushrooms to get to a level five, so maybe I'll just try to up the dosage.

hmm.. thats not much information to go with. especially with fresh shrooms. I've definately grown some that one shroom fresh would be equal to an 1/8. forty would be suicide :P (no, not literally)

I recently took about 5 grams (not exactly.. could be as low as 4.5, or high as 6, but probably 5) and experienced just about everything listed on http://www.shroomery.org/index/par/11 for level 1-5. The thing on there that I haven't experienced is blending of senses.. I don't think so at least, if it means tasting sounds, hearing colors, etc.

I never really thought about it like that, but I felt that it was like when all your sensations are just like one emotion together. I dunno I've only had a level 3 from 35g of shrooms but I plan on trying mabye 60g fresh or something a bit less with MAOIs. Any tips?

And to the original poster, personally I would do it all at once, and make sure you smoke at several times throughout the day/trip particularilly around 6 or 7 hours after dosage.
