anyone from pennsylvania?
    #3152375 - 09/18/04 11:47 PM (12 years, 2 months ago)

I have recently moved to PA and wow what a big difference it is here then from the city life. I must say I love it here and don't plan on moving anywhere else. Anyone live in PA?

Anyways, I love hallucinogens and the way they show you the bigger picture so to say... I have been walking through the woods recently and came apon some mushrooms but not too sure what species they are. I haven't picked them yet but I will soon. What kinds of mushrooms(psyclobin as the active chemical) will I find?

I'm scared to death in finding my own mushrooms and eating them because I don't want to pick the wrong ones and then end up ill. This will be the only way for me to get mushrooms because I'm in college and growing them probably won't be a very good idea unless I really keep it on the down low, but I better be safe then sorry.

-peace

you maybe able to find some good edibles, but your search for actives will be far and inbetween, in your area. On another note, if you want to find a hunting partner the gathering forum is where you need to post ..

be sure to read the rules and the guidelines for the  forum you plan on posting in.

You really won't find much in pennsylvania, if anything at all. Your best bet is to look for panaeolus subbalteatus in bales of rotting hay or horse dung mixed with stable shavings. Also if you plan on looking in the woods, look on rotting logs or woodchips for gymnopilus spectabilis and gymnopilus aeruginosus. You could also find psilocybe caerulipes in woodchips, but thats a very, very rare mushroom...good luck...

Dreaming of that face again.
It's bright and blue and shimmering.
Grinning wide
And comforting me with its three warm and wild eyes.

On my back and tumbling
Down that hole and back again
Rising up
And wiping the webs and the dew from my withered eye.
