 How to do 2nd flush

So my first flush is about done and ready to harvest. What exactly do I need to do to prepare my casings for the 2nd flush.
I did notice that some of the mushroom clumps I pulled up came up with some roots and left a hole and you can see the myce underneath. I assume I need to patch that with my casing material!
But what else??

Pick everything off, patch all that shit, then either spray with just water, or spray with 9 parts water, 1 part H2O2. When you see pins coming up again, stop spraying.
