 Sore Throat!

Aw man - I woke up this morning with a sore throat. It didn't go away. Then I made the mistake of singing for my friend's band - I was pretty upset because not only did I sound HORRIBLE but my throat got WORSE because of it. Now I'm in terrible pain and I don't know what to do - I'm drinking green tea w/ honey.
Is there anything else? I don't have the $$ for a doctor's co-pay right now.

gargle warm saltwater. it seriously really does help.

Sore throats suck but, when you feel better
If you enjoy singing, then sing. 
In contrary to popular beliefe, most people need practice to sing well. You have a sore throat for the same reason a runner has sore legs.
Sorry about the sore throat.

make sure you gargle the warm salt water like twice a day. and drinking gatorade helps a little too.

For me, hot lemon herbal tea with honey helps alot.
Also sometimes sore throats are due to bacteria attacking the throat tisues making it inflammed.If this is the case gargling with listerine a couple times a day should clear it up very quickly.

You know whats up felix. Also lemon honey and ginger teas work wonders. I kick my sore throats ass with tha and salt water, its gone in a couple days.

When I get a really sore throat I make some tea with honey and a shot or two of whiskey. Does wonders for the throat.
