i saw tons of these things growing on rotting stumps. didnt see any on the ground or out of sticks and such, all logs. and mostly cedar at that. souther vancouver island BC.

very moist, have been seeing these for a few weeks now. brow/orange cap/stem. not htat big which is also why i think it is a galerina. cap is at biggest about 1.5 inches, and they were between 1-3 inches high.

had a light brown print. broke easily, not that slimy or anything. i gues a wet waxy feel.

pretty dense forest with low light, lots of them by swampy/wet areas.

Interesting specimens. If I only saw the first photo and no other description I would start guessing with Laccaria. Of course, with the habitat on wood and a brown spore print, that goes out the window right away. With the habitat photos I agree with Galerina. There are a ton of little Galerinas that are very difficult to identify accurately, and these are probably one of them.

Hapy mushrooming!
