That Golden Barrel is beauiful too....
That Light Green growth... did that appear before you put them in the ground, or after? It's usually a sign of not enough light.

If that colossus was in my yard, i'd have a couple dozen grams of magic crystals in my drawer by now
My parents should have planted a few pedros when they made me so i'd have a garden like that when i reached adulthood
In fact every parent should be required to do so by law hehe.
Seriously, man, you can't imagine how friggin lucky you are! /me drools

Harvey, sure there are. Prolly more. I think he won't have to worry about mescaline for the rest of his life if he manages his stock well. but I just wouldn't slay the cactus all at once. I'd just cut a few kilos for a big extraction, enough for 1/2oz. or so of crystal, and let the rest grow while i was busy eating the mescaline . So i could keep extracting and taking mesc whenever i felt like it for the rest of my life hehe edited to fix grammar

Well the light growth came from sitting in my buddies dark garage for about 2 weeks. How much direct sunlight do they need. My dad said last night that they might need more but hes not sure. They are on the westside of my room so they only get direct sunlight for a few hours after 1 or 2 when the sun gets directly above them. should i move them? I want to do a crystal extraction but have no where to do it and no knowledge of how to. Ive read a few posts on here to do the crystal ext. but it seems way above what i have time for. I haven't even do a successful boiling extraction yet. I tried, but i tried to do to large of an amount, like twelve feet of cactus, and i didn't boil it down enough so i ended up drinking like 1.2 liters and feeling a mild buzz.

What should i do with this guys. this was left over from the last extraction attempt and was also sitting in my buds garage for like two weeks getting dried up. we already cut out the spines as u can see although we didn't do the best job of avoiding big chunks out of the cactus. Is this still good? for how many people? what should i do with them. thanks the can is a 24oz for size reference.

BTW how long did they (the motherplants) take to reach this size??? you could slice and dry, or make syrup and then dry for storage. FH

I'm thinkin that it looks about enough for 3 or 4 people. You need around 12 inches for a good dose for one person. I havent ever doen it yet, but I am about to cook a 14 inch cactus within the month. I hope it won't be too much. Somebody tell me if this is ok.

Size is a very poor indicator for dosage... viscosity (thickness of the syrup) is the best way... On second thought, you dont need a PC (but it helps)... mjshroomer's pictorial should do....

I wouldnt peel it or despine it either. Straining it through cloth should take care of both.
