Thats my point deff. sure you can experience egolessness while being still, inactive. I don't know about you, but I can't sit still all day every day for the rest of my life. I see it as a waste of my life as a creative being. creation requires movement. Like a shark, if I'm not creating, my spirit is dying inside of me.
I've been in egoless states of just 'being" and observing without judgment deff. I also beleive I can maintain awareness there while being in a state of becoming too. However, a form of desiring creative acomplishment, creative self realisation and creative self fullfimment acommpanies it and gratification is experienced.
I agree with jellric in that when people beleive they are their ego identities and not spirit at the same time and in self truth, they set themselves up for the suffering crapola. I'm not talking about supporting emotional or mental ego attachments that can crush you.

Mind you, no one yet has been able to answer my question about any sort of action taken in this life, not being underlined by some form of gratification, be it in serving others or the self in higher pursuits.
If it is not the ego desiring this gratification, then what is?
I considered the soul and even spirit to be capable of desiring gratification which I equate with a sense of self fullfillment.
In a state of wholeness, you are still able or willing to pursue external goals, of course, but you will not have illusory expectations that anything or anybody in the future will save you or make you happy. As far as your life situation is concerned, there may be things to be attained or acquired. That's the world of form, of gain and loss. Yet on a deeper level you are already complete, and what you realize that, there is a playful, joyous energy behind what you do. Being free of the mind/ego and psychological time, you no longer pursue your goals with grim determination, driven by fear, anger, discontent, or the need to become someone. Nor will you remain inactive through fear of failure, which to the ego, is loss of self. When your deeper sense of self is derived from Being, when you are free of "becoming" as a psychological need, neither your happiness nor your sense of self depends on the outcome, and so there is freedom from fear. You don't seek permanency where it cannot be found: in the world of form, of gain and loss, birth and death. You don't demand that situations, conditions, places, or people should make you happy, and then suffer when they don't live up to your expectations.
Everything is honored, but nothing matters. Forms are born and die, yet you are aware of the eternal underneath the forms. You know that "nothing real can be threatened." When this is your state of Being, how can you not succeed? You have succeeded already.
I created the thread ?Children?s Intrinsic Wisdom? to exemplify this level of ego-less consciousness, and shared how magic-mushrooms can be great primers for such essential spiritual releasement, in respect of this subject.

Great stuff!
So yes, if any has had enough servings of mental and emotional suffering due to separation, inequity and loss then yes, appreciate what you gained in wisdom from that ego that beleives in separation and limitation and kiss it adieu!
If you are at that point, you may find a post I just put up on playing with multi D energy really interesting.
