 Getting ready to head into the hurricane

patiently waiting for Adamist's arrival.. so we can finally meet for the first time (what has it been.. 4 years we've been talking?) grab some food.. and head south to Georgia. I have a feeling this is going to be a road trip of epic proportions. I hope to meet several shroomerites and have an awesome time.
Now.. what is Ivan looking like.. because we are heading from Northern Virginia... need to decide which route to take.. straight down 95 south and west through Georgia, or diagonally through VA and down through Tennessee..

run outside, go up onto your roof. Look towards the direction of the hurricane and give it the biggest middle finger you can muster.

haha what a wuss.. it?s only a tropical storm now..
we?ll plow right through the middle of it 
I remember Isabelle last year.. VA hardly ever gets hurricanes.. that was so fun.. I went outside and you could almost fly by jumping into the air.
it weakened a lot by the time it got here though

Annnnnnd I had a light saber and my friend was there and I said "you look like an indian" and he said "you look like satan" and he found a stick and a rock and he named the rock ooga booga and he named the stick Stick and we both thought that was pretty funny. We got eaten alive by mosquitos but didn't notice til the next day. I stepped on some glass while wading in the swamp and cut my foot open, didn't bother me til the next day either....yeah it was a good time, ended the night by buying some liquor for minors and drinking nips and going to he diner and eating chicken fingers, and then I went home and went to bed.

I was referring more to avoiding enounters with the Law than with the hurricane. The times I've been thru George there were highway patrol everywhere, often with lines of cars pulled over.

they got me in Lowndes county, GA last fall. I was doing 62 in a 70 mph...The cop said that I 'got a little too close to the white line a couple of times.', but I think he profiled me. a dude with long hair, beard, wearing a wore out tie-dye and driving a dirty little beat up sports car with Florida plates and peace stickers on it.
