I use reason to make music and I wondered what the advantage of wiring reason to cubase is. I know there's someone out there that can tell me

1) You can use the superior Cubase sequencer to control Reason.
2) You can route audio between the programs.

The sequencer in Cubase is far better than the one inside Reason.
better to slave Reason to Cubase and automate your controller data.
I record each Reason instrument individually into my DAW as audio.
then I compress, EQ and effect each track using DP4's plug-ins.
and then i mix them all down to a stereo track.
This gives me a much phatter sound than if i were using Reason alone.

it just makes things easier to hook up reason with cubase, logic or whatever via rewire. importing the loops just takes more time.
