Mushies, more prone to bad trips then LSD?

The reason I ask is that my experience with mushies is quite limited but my experience with LSD is plentiful and I must say that I have never had a bad trip (on either). Dont get me wrong, Ive flipped out a few times while tripping (mostly involving non-real police situations) but never the fear/self loathing stuff I hear about. I ask because almost every other trip report I hear around here is a bad trip.

In my experience no. I have had a few acid trips go south on me, but its never happened on shrooms.

Ive always noticed the mushrooms trips are happier but lsd is solid while mush trips are wavy.. if that makes sense. i notice alot of UP down UP down with mushrooms lsd is a slow solid onset.

mushrooms are much heavier on the soul.
i did acid hundreds of times, never one remotly bad trip. i have never fully enjoyed a mushroom experience out of the 50 or so times ive done them.

Shrooms freak me out more, they have a more dark/ancient vibe to them, However, the harder I freak on them, the better the trip is, it may be scary at the time, but I learn soooo much from it. LSD is much more blissful for me, I could eat hit after hit and get spun for days

This keeps coming up recently. I go along with the notion that there is no such thing as a bad trip - the idea of a trip being potentially bad is to view the experience in a goal oriented, hedonistic way. Mushrooms give you the journey you need. And ultimately there is nothing good nor bad, but thinking makes it so.

I prefer mushrooms, I think. You are getting just the pure natural drug, whereas, with acid, you don't know what you're getting. I've done both a fair few times. Never had a bad shroom trip, but had couple of bad acid trips. I got a feeling that might be a time and place thing, though. I trust the mushroom over the acid.

Thats the way Ive always (well, not always) looked at those 'thoughts' too. Whenever one of those blurbs about myself pop up I can either fight it (which isnt to plesant) or I can acknowledge its true, which it is and try to discover what I can do to change this behavior/attitude/etc... If that makes any sense.

yes, makes perfect sense, that is why one should take the drug. to look within and make their life better. "to fix the kinks" so to speak.

No comparison...L.S.D is harsh, Mushrooms are much more feely, pleasant, visual, beatiful....I'd do mushrooms over acid any day. Only downside to mushrooms is that they are over too quickly...four hours is never enough....I love them!

I find it to be the opposite. LSD is much more blissful for me, but as bellylard said, it's all in our heads.

I just don't trust something that used to make people go into convulsions, lose their limbs, go into severe psychosis and die. Even if we cleaned it up with the miracle of science. But I guess everybody has their own morals towards science.

Anyway I prefer LSD but find the come down to be more long and drawln out but with mush the trip just seems to end quickly when it decides to end.

shrooms! acid is good, but it is synthetic. a 5 hour shroom trip is kind of short when you find you are exploring every aspect of your mind, but this is why i unplug all phones, tv's, and CLOCKS. i find knowing the time makes it worse. Ohh no only about 2 hours left.... shit!!!!!!! not really going to let you enjoy it when you worry about time.
