 bad luck teaching a newbie...

lastnight i was teaching a friend how to cultivate....
this went sour fast!!
i was teaching her how to sterilize jars....and by the 2nd
set of jars she had the hang of it....
so i decided i would let her do the 3rd set...
i had to go to the store & when i got back, the house smelled like shit!! went to the kitchen and discovered what happened...
she didnt check the water level and therfore it evaporated..
burning a big hole thru the wash cloth, and cracking to shit 5 jars...o well...
next i started teaching her how to innoculate....
i told her to put 2cc in a jar (speed colonization)....
i turned my head for a split second and...
SHE PUT 2cc IN EACH HOLE!!!
8cc's IN ONE JAR!?!...i wonder how that is going to turn out...
its my fault, i should have been more observant...any1 else have horror stories?

i might, but i hope not. i am supposed to teach a few people how to cultivate, but i convinced them to buy db kits, and so i dont have to teach from scratch. the people that are cultivating wouldnt have the patience to appreciate cultivation as a hobby. thats why i wont waste my time...
patience is a virtue my friend. if she is really interested in cultivation for the right reasons and not just $$$ then keep up with it. good luck to ya though

the best way to teach someone is to let them see you make up a couple of jars then let them make up a couple, follow this process through out, show them first and watch them do it next, if they screw up go back and show them again then let them do it again on their own. but what ever tek your using I'd make them studdy it first before even atemping to try and show them, I had a frien I showed one time, he now does it like a pro, I guess it helps if the person your teaching is a quick learner too..

dude....she has observed me for months....ive explained to her processes over & over...this is the first time though she has actually attempted....

well maybe she is just stupid, but it take practice, and some people are better than others, i just got on the internet and when my parents went out mad up the jars and did it all, and now their doing fine, soo it just all depends on the person, of course i'm a genius and had been studying up on the fine arts of cultivating magic mushrooms

i agree w/ the guy a few posts up - you gotta have her read that tek like 5 times... then and only then try to show her. the more you read - the better you understand.
