This isn't about the contest, but about those filters. On the page it said to use them along with the vermiculite. If the filters are as good as the site says they are, wouldn't that eliminate the purpose of having the vermiculite on top of your cake? I'm not doubting that the filters work, I'm just asking why you would still need the vermiculite? I would be willing to purchase those filters if I had a couple to compare with jars without the filters ; ) Heh, I might see what all I can toss togethor with the gimp and try and win myself 100 of them.

?So, umm, what is this banner supposed to do?  Is this an ad for your company that you are asking 'us' to try and design?  Or what?  What is a banner?  I bet this q sounds dumb to some people, but I would be interested in 100 f-disks.  What are the parameters of the assignment???:crazy:

52k is far to large for a banner ad... 35k should be the limit your looking for... What are you using to make your banners? Flash? Adobe Imageready tweening? Anyways try reducing the pallete some more.

52 k is the smaller size i got....
the palette was reduced to a minimum...

Kudos, perhaps reducing the frame rate some more would help to decrease the size... or mayeb just leaving it as a flash .swf file... Does the site use <Iframe> tags in order to display it's banners or is it just a match url wth image script?
