when I went for a walk I have found small mushrooms on a very old and rotten stump.
Cannot tell wether it was a hard or softwood stump since it was already broken down too much.
My first thought was that it might be Flamulina velutipes since the stipe is getting darker towards the ground.
I was not able to make a spore print, because apparently the collected species were too young.
Anybody got an idea ?
Here are the pics:

I'm more tempted to say Galerina because of this:

Are those veil remnants?

The overall stature and pale gills suggest one of the genera close to Tricholoma. Without more info (such as a spore print), an accurate ID is going to be tough.

Happy mushroming!

I am not sure, but since these are very young mushrooms on the pics I reckon that you still would have to see the entire veil.

Yeah, I am sorry that I cannot provide more info about them.
Since they were so young they did not sporulate on the paper.
