What would happen if someone were to continually take a low dose of shrooms whenever they came down? In the way that a stoner smokes?

I mean, I've seen those pics of huge yields... I'm sure someone must've binged for awhile.

u cant binge on shrooms....tolerance builds up fast and even if u did shroom every day ud just turn into Syd Barrett, a vegetable...sad story for such an amazing person

Tolerance does build up very quickly making it impossible to continually take a low dose, so you would actually have to consume an ever increasing amount.

Ride among the breeze, but do not try to tame the winds, for they are as chaotic as they are gentle. Do not misabuse or mistreat them or you shall know their wrathe.

since tolerance builds up exponentially, you would be unable to get high after a couple of days, howeve rlarge dose you take.

it is possible that daily use of less than 1 gram dry wight may have a "tonic" effect on some people... but definitely would not be "trippy" after the first couple days...

Why would you want to ruin a good expoerience by taking them everyday.

It is as everyone above stated. After a few days you will not have any effects whatsoever.

Daily drug use amounts to abuse and that is what it would be no matter what drug you use.

Heroin needs to be shot many times during a day to maintain just a normal level of consciousness and structure.

Every two weeks is a fine time and I doubt really that that would harm anyone who loves these shrooms although most will agree that the waiting time should be at least a week to get the full benifits of the mushrooms.

Back int he early 1980s many people tweeked on MDA (THE LOVE DRUG) ANd believe me it is really the love drug. Makes you takle all of your clothes off and fuck for 8 hours straight.

Much more sexual and euphoric than X.

After doiing it for three days, mnost people would be looking like a sick speed freak completely buirned out form over doing it and not able to get off after the thiord day.

Well it is the same for LSD, mescaline and Mushrooms.

There is no need to become a zombie to the plant.

Syd Barrett was the original guitar player and singer of Pink Floyd. He did LSD on a daily basis and in large doses.

barrett was (is) a fuckin genius...one of the first people in england to take lsd, and was a hardcore abuser of it. ya he used it just about everyday to the point where when he would get on stage to perform, he would forget to play, forget what he was playing, sometimes even forget he was on stage (this is what i read from his biography book: Syd barrett: Crazy Diamond) he just could never find his way back into reality, he was always trippin

At any rate, I would never do such a thing, but I figured someone else would have tried at some point.

So psilocybin isn't particularly useful or practical as an herbal supplement, then. Good to know.

I learned pretty fast that shrooms aren't something you can take daily. Once about 4 years ago, shortly after I had first began shrooming, I tripped on about 3.5 grams. The following day my friends were all going to trip, so, not wanting to be left out i ate some shrooms as well. I ate about the same amount as the day before. I tripped, but it was surprisingly less intense than before. Like a level one as oppossed to the level 4 trip i had the day before. I had no idea that shrooms built a tolerance so fast at the time. i was really baffled for a while. I afterwards i came to this site and found out why this happend. needless to say i was really pissed at myself for wasting a good batch of shrooms. Since then I've always waited at least two weeks between doses. Also I don't think anyone who did large doses of hallucinogens regularly would necessarily end up like Barrett. It definetly wouldn't be good but some people might not be as suseptable to mental illness as him. of course some people might end up even worse off than he did.

Excessive use of technology will eventually enslave mankind.
