What are these?
    #3135772 - 09/14/04 06:20 PM (19 years, 6 months ago)

These just popped up today I think in my raised garden.

They were growing near the edges and coners of the garden, and underneath some plants. All seemed to be in the shade.

I know nothing about mushrooms, so I will just post some pictures.

those are the "lemon-yellow lepiota".
poisonous, and very common in potted plants.

I have some of these in my potted plants as well... Are they dangerous to plants they grow around? and if so, what's the best way to get rid of them? Thanks for any help!

They've been growing in there for awhile now - the mushrooms are just the fruits of the organism. Your plant has been doing fine up until now, so the fungus can't be doing too much harm and might be helping.

Happy mushrooming!
