These are my first weillis.im used to having to grow cubes.never had any luck finding them. Its good to be able to find these weillis 15mins from my house. i found a couple of patches one had about 10 good ones with a few that were decaing, the other had about 20 mushrooms that where all decaing.I left all the decaying mushrooms,hopefully the p[url=http://www.shroomery.org/forums/files/04-38/513626106-IM000552.jpg][image]http://www.shroomery.org/forums/files/04-

strohdog and I found these today around cherokee, after picking for the last several days we?ve found about 80 or 85 .

they are deffinatly out.. I wonder: is this the first of the HUGE flush? or the flush after the huge flush where they will start to decline?

Well I know its the beginning of the season so we just need another day or two of rain, and they will come right back out. I have a patch that is shaded on three sides, and just this morning i prolly picked 25 fresh ones that the veil had just broken away from the cap. Not sure if its the shade but my other patches are pretty much dried up.Just gotta wait for some more rain...

I've never seen a weilii with a veil... even the ones that aren't fully open

Well let me restate that, ur right they dont have a veil on the stem. I am talking about the veil that breaks underneath the cap, just about every mushroom has a veil its just that some leave a veil remnent and some dont. if you look at the caps that are barely open you can see the stringy remains of the veil...
