repeat: oval - "94 diskont" .
.. you will not be disappointed - basically its ambient loops (no beats) combined with cd skip noises ... but much more complicated, if you listen to the first song, "do while" , it seriously sounds like you're "hearing" 4 dimensions, very enjoyable

mouse on mars - "iaora tahiti", "autoditaker", "glam"
- these guys are quite similar to boc, listen to those albums in that order

mum is the word

autechre - "tri repetae ++" , "amber" , "incunabula" - get tri repetae ++ first

wagon christ - "throbbing pouch" (hahha - this cd is pretty cheeky but i still enjoy it)

I just got Autechre - Incunabula, and I enjoy it quite a bit. I'll check out Mouse on Mars as well pretty soon.

Honestly, I just started getting into his other stuff (besides I Care Because You Do & Selected Ambient Works) and I've found that DrukQs is the shit.

as for BoC.. I only have Geogaddi and MHtRTC. I see vague similarities between geogaddi and some tracks from I Care Because You Do (like Alberto Balsalm, one of my fave aphex twin tracks) .

Hey man, if you like Boards of Canada I bet you would like the Virgin Suicides soundtrack by Air. It is not really like Boards of Canada, but it is in similar vain....chillout music. Good luck on your quest.
