Another way to calibrate your hygrometer
    #3126442 - 09/12/04 04:16 PM (19 years, 5 months ago)

Looking around at hygrometer info, I stumbled across this:
How to calibrate your hygrometer

It is an easy way to calibrate your hygrometer. I haven't tried it yet, but I bet it's worth the effort and it's really, really easy. Hope this helps someone.

I thought that was the most basic, popular way. It's what I've always done.

I started that way except I placed the wrapped hygrometer in a ziplock. Now all I use are psychometers which BTW work awesome for calibrating hygrometers too!

My hygrometer is familiar to the ghetto kind, when it's too humid it just sez EE.

I don't even use a hygrometer. I open up my martha and put my hand in and feel. If it's thick enough to cut with a knife then its plenty humid.
