I asked in the cultivation forum whether this case was ready to initiate fruiting, and someone mentioned that it looked like cobweb. So I'm posting a more macro shot. It isn't growing too rapidly which I have been told cobweb does...but I would really like to be sure...
That just looks like myc to me. I had some really wispy, gray weak myc that was caused by too much humidity, I think. I had some little casings in a terrarium and this was no good for the myc. Anyway, instead of forming hyphal knots it just sort of sat there and then after a week or so began to turn greeny-blue and rot. Ummm, hope this helps. Perhaps a more experienced member can comment on it. Good luck!
