cobweb???
    #3126725 - 09/12/04 08:25 PM (13 years, 8 months ago)

I asked in the cultivation forum whether this case was ready to initiate fruiting, and someone mentioned that it looked like cobweb. So I'm posting a more macro shot. It isn't growing too rapidly which I have been told cobweb does...but I would really like to be sure...

thanks for any input

That just looks like myc to me.  I had some really wispy, gray weak myc that was caused by too much humidity, I think.  I had some little casings in a terrarium and this was no good for the myc.  Anyway, instead of forming hyphal knots it just sort of sat there and then after a week or so began to turn greeny-blue and rot.  Ummm, hope this helps.  Perhaps a more experienced member can comment on it.  Good luck!
