O.K. ready for another long winded story?? here it goes.
Am I just lucky?? Or is cow manure harder to get cotaminated?? I have seen grain seed get over run with bacteria,mold but have yet to have pasturized manure get over run with "mold". I leave my compost outside in a huge bin with 1/4 inch holes in it. What kinds of mold will attack compost I even did an open air transfer outdoors I crumbled my cake into it's bin and covered with compost to see what would happen I brought indoors and it is colonizing just fine no comtamination after 4 days. Is this a bad Idea or should I start being very sterile with compost and mark this one up as luck??
