This jar has taken a long time to get this far. (10weeks).
It had its screw on lid with one hole in it, i took it off and put foil on. Colonization sped up a bit. Worthy to do a g2g with it ? The other 2 jars I made with it in diferent tubs are well over done with What should I do with this slow coach.
I think its problem was that it wasnt getting enuff air like my other 2 in big 1ltr pyrex jars with foil lids. (no polyfil or tyvek).

Cheers.

Most of the time the problem with WBS is the moisture level.
Too much moisture: the bottom doesn't colonize! Too little moisture: mycelium doesn't spread!
Is there a bit of water or seed paste on the bottom of the jars? Do they look dry?
Any mycelium can be used for jar transfers as long as its not contaminated!!!

I agree with shaking it up. It may be a little tuff so i suggest Palm strikes. banging the jars with the palm of your hand or something else will make it break up real easy. Should take off after that.

A tire or carpeted floor works fine, palming tends to hurt after a few jars.
