atomic1 is right on.

and let me add these little tips that might help out:

put your one hole in the lid of the half-pint near the edge of the jar, it makes it much easier to get the fluid out later.

bring your pressure up to 15psi slowly or else you will carmelize the sugar in the water. so use about med heat. of course stoves differ.

anything you are not clear just ask, i am sure someone will help you out.

More tips:
Make sure the water is bottled water or something to that effect. Use a rag for the bottom of the pot so you really don't have to worry about carmelization. If you have a GB USE IT! You lid should be upside down and tyvek on top. If you have a GB, remove the top inside the GB and scrape spores in. Now heres what I use: Cling wrap and rubber band it over the top. It makes it easier to see where your going to suck up the myc. After you make the hole recover with another piece of cling wrap. Good luck bro, peace...

I would imagine "glove box"... I think people use abbreviations just a little to heavily around here, especially since they aren't defined anywhere (that I've seen).

I myself will abbreviate but I have the habit of putting the abbreviated word in parenthesizes or use the full word throughout the reply with an abbreviation after I feel people have a good grasp on what is being said. For people replying alot it helps but actually most newbie are the ones being replied to so abbreviations are for the most part redundant. I have to say seeing a newbie refer to fresh air exchange as FAE is a pleasant sight to see (them learning).

Agreed.  Using the 'proper' form of acronym introduction on each post helps.  Who can't type things at least once a post and then revert to using the abbreviation for subsequent occurrences?

Like: I built a glovebox (GB) to blah blah blah.  So then if I blah blah blah in the GB, then are they blah blah blah?  Or will it give them the "heebie GB's"?
