Man i made a new batch of jars last friday and they stink, wonder if my syringe was bad should jars be stankin, smell kind of rancid. how long can you keep a syringe.

You are done; any air exposure now will only compund the problem. Start over, perhaps sterilizing for a longer period. Spores in syringes deterioriate over time but if stored in a dry dark place thats not too warm they can keep for at least a year.
