What if...
    #3122634 - 09/11/04 04:34 PM (12 years, 11 months ago)

What if the government did NOT care about your well being and only moved about issues strategically like a game of chess, in which we were its pawns? What if the government poisoned our drinking water, our vaccines, our food? What if they did commit atrocities on our own domestic soil and people to further their hold on power? What if you KNEW this and wanted to revolt? Would you? Or would you be afraid?

We now have technology to stop revolts dead in their tracks. They can supress a physical revolution before it ever had a chance to happen.

It probably has happened before and it will happen in the future. Its only a matter of time.

Discuss how to fight a new revolution, if one was to occur.

Why, that's crazy talk.  Of course the government cares about us. :smirk:

I don't think we're much good to them dead.

Wouldn't surprise me.

I plan on getting a gun(or three) to be prepared for just such an event.

Then how come they can't do it to our enemies overseas(by which I mean the terrorists)?

Probably guerrilla warfare would help, just like it did during the American Revolution, and in the Vietnam War.  If the government can't tell who the enemy is, its chances of success are severely weakened.  Personally, I would nominate Evolving to lead this uprising.

Are those links supposed to make me want to kill the government or something?

I would imagine in order for a revolt to be successful some US military agents would have to be involved.

I've heard the whole argument about fluoride before. While I think there might be something to it, it seems a little blown out of proportion.
