Morning Glory flower dew?

I am not familiar with the biological terms which refer to the parts of a flower, so I will try my best to describe what it is I am asking.

My morning glory has a few flowers just starting to come out. There is a claw looking "thing" (which is probably the completely opened bud exterior) which has some sort of liquid forming in the "valleys" of each "bud claw."

The "valleys" point down, and the "claws" point up.

1. So what is the liquid that is forming in the flower's "valleys"?
2. Is there any information on the chemical compostition of this liquid (or "dew")?
3. Could this dew, theoretically, be the "essence" of the plant (in a certain sense)? If yes, could it possibly contain any desirable, entheogenic properties?

If I had a digital camera I would post a picture.

Perhaps I should have said "nectar" as oppossed to "dew."

So is there any potential in morning Glory nectar?

the only psycoactive alkaloids on morning glory is found in the seeds.
