since i dont have any oven bags, but really kind of need to pasteurize some straw this afternoon... can mycobags go in the oven? or should i go and try and find some real oven bags? im going out of town for a week tomorrow and was hoping to spawn my grain now and have it be either done or close to done when i got back.

Dude you can go down to safeway or albertsons or whatever your local supermarket is called and get oven bags that they use to cook turkeys in. That will work just fine.

Hes talking about doing it in the oven not in a pot pasturizing.

i dont have a pot big enough for all this straw :frown:  i tried both target and the grocery store and neither place had oven bags.  i could try and do it a little at a time in boiling water.

out of curiousity, how big is the risk of contamination if i dont pasteurize it, or if i go all out and sterilize it?  its grain spawn into soaked straw w/ manuer.
