Gren mold on a scab?

I scraped my knee about a week ago, a big nasty scrape, and of course it formed a big nasty scab. Yesterday i happen to look at my knee and i find that the scab is completely colonized with green mold, and already into sporulating.
I got contammed!
Do i need to throw out the whole Mike, or can some of me be saved?
So i put a bit of neosporin on it, and by this morning, no signs of mold, and a thinner, more normal looking scab is present.

it's not gangrene, and it's completely dead.it was a mold i've seen lots of times, with whitish mycelium and pale lime green spore... just a garden variety green mold...

I don't know if its related, but i was sick as a dog all day today... i woke up feeling like i had a horrible flu, so I ate chicken soup, gargled saltwater, ate raw garlic, the combi9nation of the three usually knocks down a cold within an hour... but this thing was much worse, i slept for four hours going through periods of hot and cold sweats... woke up feeling much worse, so I repeated the course of treatment, and my dad brought me some homemade chicken soup... slept another four hours, same thing with the hot and cold sweats, took some ibuprofin, slept another four hours, and now i woke up feeling better, still have mild symptoms, but its nowhere near as bad as it was earlier...
I'm pretty sure i had a nasty flu, and that the scabby mold had little to do with it... but i havent been this sick in years...

Was it something like this
I don't want to alarm you but you should ask your parents if there was any case of psoriasis in your family. Hope you get well !

No, it wasn't like that at all... there was no redness around the scab, which would indicate infection... plus, neosporin killed it overnight, which wouldn't happen with psoriasis... I'm pretty sure i just have some nasty superflu, i'm coming out of it now, but for the last 36 hours i've been about as sick as i've ever been...
