Pinning and Little shrooms--is there a difference

some of you know about my little 3-4 month homestead experience...now that three little fatties have appeared overnight, i don't know if this is "pinning" or if this is going to be the entire fuggon yield....

to recap, the mycellium was developing for a good 8 weeks under a half inch of peat...my friend and i finally gave up and scratched the top layer to expose the mycelia...low and behold, two to three days later, three little fatty shrooms pop up out of no where.

-what we do to get the best possible yield
-is there still time to salvage
-what are these little shrooms--is this a good or bad sign

Youve done what you can, you may try to drop moisture on any drying casing and you may also try chucking half of that casing layer. be clean. Sometimes you will only get a few pins and they will all grow to be FAT! so wait it out esp if this is your first flush. these little shrooms are pins you didnt see before and will grow if you keep the parameters in check. keep your hands out of the pie and it will grow, shrooms need affection not constant attention. good luck!
