Those look like Turkey Tails to me.
Here is a page about A. praeclaresquamosus, http://www.mykoweb.com/CAF/species/Agaricus_praeclaresquamosus.html and
a key if it doesn't match http://www.bluewillowpages.com/mushroomexpert/agaricus.html

LBMs is a collective term for little brown mushrooms that are usally insignifigant and hard to identify. LBMs probably include about 10+ different genera and countless actual species of mushrooms. You'll see the term used quite a bit in this forum and in most identification guides.

Nice finds, and beautiful pics. Looks like a fun foray. Anybody finding any cyans up there yet. All this cool rainy weather has got me wondering. I don't know if it's cooling off enough at night yet though. I've been pondering a trip down to the coast for azures.

Nice specimens and photos.

Your purple mushrooms look a lot like Mycena pura. They are beautiful in the field, but if you collect them and bring them home the purple color fades within a couple days to a bland brown. There have also been collections found that had significant levels of muscarine, so they should be considered poisonous.

Your Wood Ears aren't - they look to be one of the various relatives of Turkey Tails.

The Oyster Mushrooms look a lot like Pleurotus populinus, a species that is found a high altitude here in Colorado.

Happy mushrooming!

thanks again, all!

TM-yeah, we realized after a few turkeytail opinions that we were wrong about the Wood Ears!  so thanks for that correction!

no cyans yet... still too early though the weather has been very fall-like!

mycoguy--i will post them as soon as i am finished moving in my new place tomorrow, so hopefully in the next few days!!

Here's a shot of the gills on a larger one:

i believe this to be the wine colored agaricus(agaricus subrutilescens)
The discribtion in mushrooms demystified for the subrutilescens is very close to your pictures.the red color on the upper portion of the stem rly clued me in on this.If anyone else has this book please check.two opions are better than one.the veil hangs in a skirtlike fashion aswell.

CAP just about the same discribtion as any agaricus.the wine colored fibrils make me think its a subrutilescens.

Stalk equal or thicker below, smooth and white or reddish above the ring(i think the ring is the veil not sure thou)sheathed with soft cottony white scales below which break up into fibirillose patchs in age or wear away, often frigile in age.

VEIL membranous, white, froming a thin, usually superior skirtlike ring on stalk.

that description does sound alot like it; however, the stem did indeed stain a yellow then later turned to brown.  the description for the wine colored agaricus in MD states that it does not stain.

i believe DH's ID of Agaricus praeclaresquamosus is accurate after keying it through MD.

good guess though and thanks for the interest!
