Cakes wont pin

Im trying to track down the culprit but I think I already know what it is, 85-90% humidity. Is it to low for the cakes to fruit?

make a casing. its easier. as of today i hav sum 40 or so pins. just crumble the cakes, throw ina 2 liter, cover with wet verm. make sure theres a ton of holes and valleys n shit in the verm. then saran wrap it,a dn patch if needed. my PF cakes suck in every way compared toa casing. plus, u can make casings basically self-sustaining, and can move them aroudn easier.

just my .02

Stick with the cakes if this is your first time. Just bump up the humidity. Overfanning often destroys your high humidity, so be carefull not to fan too much.

If you just can't keep the humidity up or are ready to try casings. Make you casings level. Don't make "ton of holes and valleys" in it or else you are going to have uneven growth and more patching to do.
