syringe sterilization?

what is the best way to sterilize a spore syringe? (please tell me step by step, as if you have just innoculated your pf jars and are getting ready to put the syringe away.)

Please Help!

Heres what I did when I made them for AFOAF:

1. Take them completey apart
2. Rinse all the unused spores out. If you need to, take a needle and scrape them out.
3. Put all the parts in a bowl of rubbing alcohol for a few minutes. Not too long since alcohol weakens plastics. Learned that from cleaning acrylic bongs ;)
4. Boil some water. Then let the parts boil in that for a bit.
5. At this time I use germ X to clean my hands. No use wasting all that sterilzation if you have shit on your hands.
6. Take the parts and shake the water out. Then put them back together.
7. Leave the water boiling. Suck some boiling water into the syringes, and the squirt it into the sink. Do this several times.
8. Suck some more boiling water into the syringe until its full. Put the cap back on it, and place into a baggy. Then another one.

This isnt 100 percent fail proof. But Ive never had problems with it,.....Maybe its just 100 percent fail proof for me. Ive heard of folks having problems, but this is as good as it gets with used syringes!

im not talking about after you use ALL of the spore liquid, im talking about if i still have like 8 cc's left in the syringe and i just want it sterile so i can get rid of all contams for the next time i want to make a PF cake...

hahaha. I m sorry ;)

Just take a lighter and heat the tip when you are ready to inoc again. Once its heated, take some rubbing alcohol on a paper towel and wipe of the needle!

Sorry dude I thought you had finished them off and wanted to use them again! :)
