Casing induced too soon?
    #3113564 - 09/09/04 01:05 PM (20 years, 4 months ago)

I cased a small container and let it colonize. I patch cased the parts growing in faster but my problem is, i think i put it in the fruiting chamber too soon. most of the myc. is just below the surface, i think i should have incubated it until more surface was colonized. Its been in the fruiting chamber for 2-3 days. Should i continue and see if it pins or try to incubate it until more surface is colonized?

so will pins form right beneath the surface and punch through OK or will more of the myc. have to grow to the surface

AFOAF did the exact same thing you did, almost no myc was showing when they birthed it into thier PMP, and now just today (12 days later) they are going to harvesting their first flush, and he is very very satisfied... I'd say your safe
this is it if you wanna check out what it looked like
