Straw colonization
    #3111612 - 09/09/04 02:33 AM (13 years, 9 months ago)

Howdy folks.....
So my friendly farmer friend has had his bags of straw colonizing for almost a week. He plans on leaving them alone for another week or so, but I am concerned that he is going to lose them all to contamination. Is two weeks too long to leave straw to colonize, or am I worrying for nothing? They seem to be doing just fine, but I would hate to see that handsome guy lose all his hard work to contams.....wait another week, or start the fruiting process in a couple of days before the bags appear to be fully colonized?

tell hot stuff he should wait until they are fully coonized, a little longer may try his patience but trying to fruit them too soon is usualy a good way to loose the crop
