PF-Classic vs Ecuador

I'm growing both right now, made the same time, rye as substrate using casings, last saturday ecuador casings had mycelium growth through the casing layer a lot!
The pf's had little, but they were all put in the terrarium for pinning!
Is classic slower than ecuador? They all had equal circumstances!
Anyway, mycelium growth from classic develops at outerside, ecuador througout whole casing! Is calssic starting out a the sides, or is this just coincidence?
Thanks for the help (in advance)!

I have found that PFs do not take to casings as well as other cultivars. I don't know why, but they seem to fruit better uncased.

PF isn't the greatest for yields I hear. EQ is a great well known train producing medium to large fruits with fast colonizing.
I think they both make great eye candy.
