Psilocybes with pink gills? Can you imagine any magic with pink gills? The gills are dark. The darkness implies that magic is created where sight cannot see. Only in the void can magic be produced!
Purple-brown and black spores are the only place magic can be produced, aside from rare instances of the royal orange spore of the sacred Gymnopilus species, but they're so mighty that one could barely take down enough of their holy flesh to catch a glimpse of what they're all about.
Stay cool and don't eat any pink, unless it's between her legs!-Levi7.

I've never picked Ps. cubensis in my life, so I'm wrong in my statements. I should be put in my place. Actually, I haven't eaten all that many shrooms in my life, either. I just thought I'd add my amateur knowledge to the post. Sorry if I offended you. Anyway, stay cool!-Levi7.

Sounds to me like you picked Agaricus arvensis or Agaricus silvaticus. A mushroom which has pink gills and then turns to purple-brown with age.

mj

They are a common edibole field mushroom.

And I doubt a cubensis with white spores. that's morphologically, oops bioologically impossible since P. cubensis has only purple-brown spores color.

Sterile spores would be more like it and they would be a yellowish color to the gills if there were no spoires in the shroom.

mj

Have a shroomy day and may all of your days be shroomy.

Agaricus almost certainly. Good for dinner, but no magic.

I'm finding plenty of magic, GG. I was referring to the taste of the meadow mushroom. They're awesome, when fresh. Pan subbs and my Stuntzii patch are being extremely friendly this year-due to comfort and care!
Anyway, are you finding those bad boys down there? I hope so. Stay cool, bro!-Levi7.

You weren't tripping on any magic mushroom, white gills is not a magic mushroom... Maybe you dreamt this whole experience?
