They grow at low temps. If you wanted to grow indoors you would need some kind of cooling system or crank the AC wayyy up likely freezing your ass of for the mushroom's sake

im working on an indoor azure project actually. i heard its damn near impossible to do. you might as well grow pan trops. / cyans they are potent enough!! but anyways, if you still want to know what the average setup for a azure grow tek is ill give it to you:
quart jars
rye grain
spores
alder woodchips
pinecones
coco fiber
frig
light
containers
and lastly...LOTS OF DAMN PATIENCE!!
they take a long time to grow ( fruiting stage )....after you put the colonized substrate in the frig, it takes about 3-4 weeks for the whole fruiting process start to finish.

A while back I found a write up of someones cultivation experiments with azure's indoors. I may have even found it right here at the shroomery, or Erowid or LEDA or something I don't remember. I don't personally know if it works but this guy seems to have made it work. It involves inoculating riceflr/verm cakes, then after colonized, slicing and casing the cakes in soaked corrugated cardboard. If you want the whole outline PM me.
I can see a world where this is no poverty and no war, I can also see us attacking that world because they would never expect it.

Someone had a tek here in the grow/find that utalized cardboard strips that covered BRF. And they did it in the fridge. I think it took 4 months to colonise the BRF.

people periodically claim to have accomplished it.
people periodically claim to have seen elvis.
in both cases, corroborating proof has not been produced.

As far as I know it this bucket was done by Teonanacatl from Austria.
Also Garz has done it.

In the book from Bert Marco Schuldes: Das Pilzzuchtbuch there is a photo of indoor azures.
I?ve been trying to bring colonized beech wood pieces cased with a thin layer of 50/50 casing to fruit since january.
The casing is kept in a small fridge with light by day, the fridge holds a temperature of 5?C, it is switched off every day for 6 hours and switched on every afternoon.
Mycelium has colonized the casing, no contaminants, but also no fruits.
I think I?m going to abort this soon and innoculate an outdoor bed with the spawn.

I would think C02 would be BIG problem in a refrigerator...or does ouside air come in? maybe you need some ventillation to sprout those nubs.
good luck anyhow....tell us how you did.

The refrigereator(in fact a cooling box)
is equiped with a clear lid.
The air has being fanned out 3 times a day by hand.

Have you any idea how gartz or teonacle did that?? The substrate layer is monsterous in that bucket, maybe all other attempts at indoors failed due to small substrate layers. Does gartz have his lab notes published anywhere? He fruited libs too, id like to get my hand on his notes.
