is 85-86 degree temp too hot in PMP? ?
    #3108478 - 09/08/04 02:35 PM (19 years, 7 months ago)

I know i'm stressing, but I have sooo much Myc - colonizing- even on the casing (i don't want overlay)in the PMP. . . in Cali it's burning more than ever- i don't even know the temp outside - but I can tell you the PMP is 85-86. . Will this do damage? Recommendations? - - brother q

If you are trying to fruit your casing then your going to need to get that temp. down cause right now your at prime temp. for colonization so you're just going to keep growing mycelia.  Get your temp down to the low-mid 70's and you'll be golden but fix it soon before you do get overlay.  :goodluck:

Freeze two 2 liter pop bottles with water. Once frozen put 1 in the PMP and switch when the first is fully thawed. This is the most critical time (pinning) to get it right! Lots of FAE will also help alot with overlay conditions early on! GL

High temps are a major problem. You MUST get the temp down somehow. Pins will stall if the temp is too high. I once had the same problem and lost a major crop. Pins appeared when I got the temp down, but the temp kept going back up and stalling the pins. The myc just kept overgrowing them.
