Crock pots

I've read a little bit about them but I had a couple questions that I couldn't find in a search, first how long and on what setting should I cook the jars? All this is for PF style 1/2 pints btw. And is it ok to stack them, and if yes should they be on racks or something to keep space between the stacked jars? How much water would you think should be in there(obviously depends on the time you recommend...).

And has anyone actually done this successfully? I'm making a lot of jars (probably 36, maybe more) so if i lose a few or even a lot I'm not too worried (course i'd like to keep em all, lol).

just put a clean wash cloth on the bottem of the cp and fill it w/ water half way up the first jar if stacking them be sure to put the holes in the jars first and put foil over the top to prevent extrs water from getting in . bring to a high boil then reduce to med high for 30 min then turn off and let sit for 20-30 min then you can put them in the fridge to cool faster
personly i put a 10 lb weight on top of my lid scince i dont have a pc
