Honey water to hydrate birdseed
    #310511 -

What would happen if you added plain strength honey water to your birdseed jars before sterilization instead of plain spring water. Would it be too powerfull?

Why not use honey water in every substrate recipie there is?

I changed the title to gain some interest...I have several jars with the honeyBirdseed mix that will be innoculated today.... Wish me luck..

Someone care to comment on this, or is it just that stupid of an idea that no one wants to be associated with it?

Let me know

Pete

Now why would that be contam city? You add the honeywater (which keeps quite well) to the birdseed before any pressure cooking.... Do it up all at once in a filter patch bag or quart jars. Seems yoou would have some pretty hot stuff.... I realize with the extra sugar you are opening yourself up to a bigger risk of coontamination, but if you do things right, I don't see the problem. The two survive all right alone, why not together???? I will be innoculating several jars and and bags this evening and will let you know how I fair.

Would appreciate more feed back, though... Somebody???????????????

peace and respect

pete
