So cow poo comes in many shapes and sizes as we all know. It can be fresh and green and goupy or it can be old soil/rock like with grass growing through it or it can be any where in between. Cow poo supports alot of organisms too. I found lots of ants, maggots, and small mushrooms and mycelia in the medium grade poo(medium=between the 2 types listed above). So heres the Q: Is the old grassy dry poo the best? Some poo has alot of grass from the ground mixed in; is this grass OK or should it be removed?

Are you shure that this "grass" isnt half-crunched food, by the animals stomach? I have noticed that some of them dont chew their food very well, and the result is....straw and other grass like shit in their shit :)

Yes god damn it. I admit it! I am in love with shit! I am a fecalmaniac; and am madle in love with the fecalfacial guy here.
No really. I have been asking alot about shit but I have one more question: Is it ok for there to be corn kernels in the poo? These are whole kernels and are not chewed or digested at all. The stupid cows didn't even chew them. I am asking this b/c alot of contams can hide in grain and wouldn't be killed by pastuerization. Is cornholio cow poo bad? Should I try to find cows w/o cornholio?

Guys please don't trash this thread.
The corn is not chewed. It is whole corn in the cow poo. I am no fool and I knew well before hand that cow poo had alot of organisms in it; very species rich. I was just pointing it out and it had more than I thought would be there.
No I am not talking about my own poo. COW POOOOOOo as the thread is tilted is what this thread is about. If the real definition of fecalpheliac is playing with youw OWN shit then I used the wrong word; I just made the word up on the spot when I wrote it.
DB is coming along NICELY. Will post results in a few days. As I said above "is it allright to have non chewed intact corn in the poo?" This stuff woln't go through sterilization so will the corn be a noahs ark of contams. And there are alot of grass grains that were under the cow poo that stuck to it. Will the grains be ok too?
