Premade jars and storage time?

I have some premade alien substrate jars that were made about 3 weeks ago, about a weeks after I ordered my syringes. They still arent innoculated, I'll let you put 2 and 2 together. I check them every once in awhile, maybe once a week. No contams......Cool! But will they dry out?

Yea, should work fine as long as they didn't dry out. I've held jars at least that long, probably longer. On the good side, at least you know there's no contams or you'd have seen them by now. :)

I have about 10 jars of standard PF brown rice subsrate here that I pressure cooked about 2 years ago. I used lids without holes, and put the gum seal down. After pressure cooking at 15psi for 30 mins, the jars were sterile and sealed (canned).. There is still condensation on the sides of the jars, and nothing growing.
If the lids are placed upside down and there are holes in the lid, I would expect the moisture to slowly leak out, unless they were kept in a fairly humid environment. But they should stay sterile.
