my incubation chamber got to around 105 degrees farinhieght and i dropped the temp back down to around 85. will i have to chunk all my jars?

If the temp didn't penetrate the jars you are fine.
The air is the first to get hot,
then the jar,
then the air between the jar
the outer substrate
then the inner substrait.

Depends on how fast you heat the jars. If you heat them slowly then they are going to be hotter than the air. Mycelium temp is usually going to be hotter than the incubator, unless you heat them up real quick.

You are probably screwed. Remember to post your results.

they can survive 115, my friends bulk casing hit 115 for a week or so. It was shrunk and dehyrated but ok. It flushed real shitty though.

Yeah I had a problem at first because I have a room in my garage and it get to around 100 to 110 degrees in the day so I just got a little wall air conditioner for it and how everything looks like it going great.

No doubt your friend must of had alot of dead myc or is that myc thermo death limits (106F.) research over the last few decades just a bunch of shit? Very interesting :wink:
