What is the best way to humidify a storage bin?

There's a dog in the station, contemplating rotation as a form of recreation and fun!

you could use a humidifier or you could simply put seran wrap over the top and mist. you can essentially treat it like an aquiarium except no perlite. A friend found that if you just leave the top on you can keep plenty of humidity in the bin.

hey not to be a dick or anything, bbut the best advice some one gave me when i asked stupid questions was to first run a search, and if you cant find anything on your question, then go buy a book. people get offended or pissed off for some reason when questions like this appear every week.

Try humidifiers. possibly one at each end if it's a large bin. Use a hygrometer to runs tests to determine how long to run the humidifiers. If you have a good airtight lid, you'll be amazed how how well the humidty will last. AS l;ong as there is moisture on the walls, the humidity should be over 90%.

Why not use perlite? How big is your bin?
