I would break up the ball and shake it around to distribute it a little, assuming that it's not 100% colonized, the droplets are fine, its normal

You are supposed to shake up the mycobag and break the ball up and spread it, as Prisoner1 said.
It won't hurt the mycelium, just break connections so they can rebuild more massively

Thats exactly what I have done with the bags I would make up that did that, also check that the bottom of your incubator to make sure it is not too hot. Once I had the heater up a bit too much and all the bags I made colonized on the top but not the bottom because of the heat.

If i get large rhizo balls but the rest of the bag is largely uncolonized i tend to break them up well shake well and wait for the mycelium to recover.
I normally find this happens because the bag is too hot at the bottom (like when i put them all in a cardboard box on my hot water boiler) or if the bag is a bit dry.
OFF TOPIC WHINE - Today I have just lost nine bags to contam of ten, the tenth is only partially colonised - why do the myco gods sometimes hate me?
