A Memorable Trip

15 grams wet mushrooms

The trip started out normally, I was giggling and listening to music about 20 minutes after ingestion. Then something went wrong. I began to feel disoriented, so I went to lie down on my bed. I stayed there for some time.

As I was laying on my bed in the dark, my vision began to melt and morph, and I began to sense I was somewhere else entirely. It was a little disconcerting to feel that I was physically somewhere else, but I have had worse. I tried to relax and enjoy the trip as much as possible. Suddenly I was aware of where I was. To my right there was a huge pyramid, to the left a dense jungle. I could see a pond, glistening in the moonlight. I smelled the sweet scents of the jungle, felt the earth beneath me. Somewhere in the distance I could hear a primitive, tribal rhythm. I stayed in this presumably south american place for what seemed like hours. When I finally returned to my bedroom I was overwhelmed with a desire to be in nature. Unfortunately I was in no condition to go on a nature walk by myself in the dark!

As I started out Monday I was filled with a sense of peace and purpose, and a new connection to nature.

Life is good. :)

punk, i think it's incredible that it's possible to have such experiences from eating a mushroom, i had a similar experience a few months back, it highlights the fact that mushrooms can be experienced in 2 very different ways, with eyes open, when one perceives the 3 dimensional world around them through the eyes of the mushroom dimension, and then eyes closed, with some degree of sensory deprivation, it is with this method that i believe one actualy ENTERS the mushroom dimension, which is a purely internal dimension, and truly magnificent and life changing experiences can be had in this wonderful place
